Editorial Profile: This magazine started life in 1985 as Sports Car Illustrated, but the name changed only a few years later. It has appeared as both a bimonthly and a monthly, depending on how the fortunes of publishing have treated it. What is consistent, however, is a dedication to high-quality coverage of the world's sports cars. From issue one onward, the magazine has presented full-color articles of the best sports cars, race cars, motorcycles, individuals, and events from past and present. Articles are highly detailed and written with a reverence for the hobby. This is not a magazine to read for a comparison of family sedans -- this is strictly for those who can't get enough of Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, Corvette, and uncountable other marques catering to those for whom the journey is more important than the destination. This is top-quality stuff.
